After four years in the hi-desert of California, we’re thrilled to announce the Evered House is moving to Virginia’s beautiful Eastern Shore! We are proud of all we achieved on the West Coast, and look forward to continuing our work in Virginia, a veteran friendly locale with deep military and historical roots. The “commonwealth"also has the kind of weather that will enable us to operate the program all year round. (Which means no more closing for months in the summer!) We’re already on the hunt for a new residency house, but in the mean time, we’re not missing a beat and are planning a busy year of programming starting fall of 2021. We’ll be offering grants, initiating an annual "Evered House Award" and continuing to amplify and highlight the amazing work veteran-artists, first responders and conflict workers do every day.
